This piece was inspired by a walk I took on the Golden Gate Bridge with two dear friends back in 2015. The city had closed the bridge down to motorists for one weekend and only pedestrians were allowed. I never realized how loud the bridge was until that weekend. All we heard were our voices, the seagulls, the seals and the foghorn. Magic.
