It's not as creepy as it sounds. My studio husband Jason and I recently shot two days of a Figure Study Series (aka Nudes). The portraits were painterly, intimate and gorgeous. We were excited and proud of the results. The latest painting in the Type Note Series was inspired by a quote from one of our subjects, who was sipping on a glass of bourbon that I'd just handed her as she was about to disrobe for her sitting. She told us this hilarious story of her Lyft driver, who, when she mentioned that she was on her way to be photographed, told her: "My advice: just imagine everyone naked." "Too late", she replied.
